Application and Eligibility

Eligibility to take the exam is determined by the PRA programs. Contact your PRA program directly for further information. For a list of PRA programs, visit the MCC’s PRA webpage.

You must apply for the TDM Examination through your PRA program. Once your application is approved, and prior to the scheduling period opening, you will receive a message through your account with scheduling details. Scheduling will be done online directly with Prometric and is on a first-come, first-serve basis.

Accessibility and test accommodations

If you have a documented disability, functional limitation or special need (requiring additional time, access to assistive equipment, breast pumps, food, etc.), you may be able to receive test accommodations to take the TDM Examination. You will need to notify the MCC as soon as possible by writing to and you should identify this need when completing your exam application.

Limited exam attempts

Candidates are permitted one TDM Examination attempt per calendar year. If you did not obtain a pass result, you may reattempt the examination in the following calendar year. You cannot apply to consecutive examination sessions. Candidates have a maximum number of four TDM Examination attempts (which includes a maximum of two pass results per lifetime).
