Stephanie Connolly

Stephanie Connolly is the Director of Professional Licensing and Regulatory Affairs in the Government of Yukon. She is the Registrar of Medical Practitioners in the Yukon and the Registrar and Superintendent for an additional 11 health professions and 11 business related professions.

She has worked for Professional Licensing and Regulatory Affairs in various roles since late 2016. Previously as the Manager/Deputy Registrar and now Director/Registrar, she is focused on building a strong regulatory foundation, finding consistencies and efficiencies for regulating a multitude of professions. She is particularly focused on improving the complaints process to better ensure procedural fairness and support for the public.

Ms. Connolly graduated with a BSc in Biochemistry and Chemistry from the University of Victoria in 2004. She has a Masters of Arts in Leadership from Royal Roads University. Prior to moving to and working in the Yukon, she worked at the University of British Columbia in the Health and Safety Department. She managed the research safety team working to ensure research spaces were safe and meeting their Provincial and Federal regulatory requirements.

Ms. Connolly brings an endless curiosity, strong analytical skills and broad experience with regulating professions to the MCC Council.
