Effective today, February 15, 2023, the translation service offered through candidates’ physiciansapply.ca account is no longer available. If you have documents in a language other than English or French, you must have them translated according to our requirements.
We recommend you obtain any required translations from one of the translation service providers listed on the Translation of your documents page, as those providers have made commitments to the Medical Council of Canada (MCC) that they will translate documents in accordance with our requirements. You will have to communicate directly with the providers to obtain all the necessary information and proceed with the translation of your documents.
Why the change?
The Translation Bureau of Public Services and Procurement Canada informed the MCC of upcoming changes in their business processes and costs. Observing the potential impact to candidates, the MCC has opted to change its service offering so that candidates can have more flexibility and alternative providers to select for their translation requirements.
