New process for submitting documents

April 19, 2024

On April 18, 2024, a new process has been implemented for submitting documents to the Medical Council of Canada. Candidates are now able to securely upload their documents directly into their physiciansapply.ca account when applying for an examination, submitting their medical credentials for source verification or requesting other services. In addition, they no longer have to provide a Certified Identity Confirmation form as part of the required identity documentation; only their identity document(s) (for example, a passport) needs to be certified according to our requirements.
Candidates who submitted a source verification request or an examination application prior to April 18, 2024, should follow the instructions already provided in their physiciansapply.ca account on how to submit their documents.

This simplified process will improve efficiency in the services we offer to candidates on their route to licensure.
