Preparatory product discounts to support MCCQE Part I candidates

The Medical Council of Canada (MCC)’s current offering of preparatory products will be expired following the October/November 2024 exam session. A new Preparatory Examination (PE) and a new PE-Lite will be available in early December 2024 for purchase, and the new products will align with the shortened Medical Council of Canada Qualifying Examination (MCCQE) Part I.

Timeline:

Given the approaching expiry date of November 29, the promised 6-month access period to questions, answers and rationales within the PE and PE-Lite is no longer possible. To support candidates through this transitional period, the PE and the PE-Lite are now discounted.

The PE and the PE-Lite are now discounted

The PE can now be purchased for $475 (a discount of $55), and the PE-Lite can now be purchased for $295 (a discount of $35). The discount will automatically be applied within the Practice Test Portal.

The discount extends to the full-length PE and both available PE-Lite forms, when purchased by individual candidates. The Multiple-Choice Question (MCQ) practice tests, and the Clinical Decision-Making (CDM) practice tests are not discounted. The MCC is not crediting or refunding purchases made prior to June 3, 2024.
