October 2019 MCCQE Part II pre-application is now closed

Randomly selected PGY-2+ candidates who added their names to the pre-application list between April 23 and May 21, 2019 can expect to receive an invitation to apply to the exam starting May 24, 2019.

Randomly selected PGY-2+ candidates will be sent a message through their physiciansapply.ca account that will include information on how to complete and pay for an application.

While capacity for each session is limited, if a candidate is required to take the exam no later than a given session for licensure purposes or other reason related to progressing through their career, we will ensure that they are provided a spot in the exam no later than that session, provided that they added their name to the pre-application list during the pre-application period indicated above.

PGY-1 candidates will be randomly selected in July 2019 based on the number of available spaces. Those selected will receive a message through their physiciansapply.ca account at the end of July.
