Preparing for the Medical Council of Canada Qualifying Examination (MCCQE) is an important step on the path to licensure, and the Medical Council of Canada (MCC) recognizes that exam preparation can also be stressful and demanding.
As part of our commitment to supporting candidates and improving access to official exam preparation resources, the MCC is introducing a new Preparatory Examination (PE) form for $1.
This form offers a new and unique set of 230 multiple-choice questions. This matches the length of the MCCQE, offering a full exam experience for practice.
By offering this new form for just $1, the MCC is responding to candidate feedback about the growing costs associated with exam preparation and expanding access to high-quality preparation resources for a broader range of candidates. The $1 PE form remains an official MCC preparatory product built to the same high standards candidates expect. Developed by subject matter experts and refined through physician test committees, the new PE reflects the structure, format, and content areas of the MCCQE, helping candidates prepare using an official practice experience.
The $1 PE complements the existing suite of MCC preparatory products, which continue to be available for purchase, offering additional opportunities for practice. There are no repeated questions across the four available forms (this new form, our existing PE form and two PE-Lite forms) or our set of 55 free MCCQE questions, giving you access to up to 745 questions for practice.
We wish you the best in your preparation for the MCCQE.
