If you are certain you no longer want to take the National Assessment Collaboration (NAC) Examination, or you want to delay taking it until a future session, you may request to withdraw your application.
You can withdraw your NAC Examination application by submitting a request through your physiciansapply.ca account:
- Click on Examinations in the left panel.
- Click on Withdraw from an exam at the bottom of the centre panel and follow the steps provided.
Transfers to a later session are not permitted. You must withdraw and reapply when you wish to take the examination.
Getting a partial refund of your March 2019 NAC exam application fee
If you are eligible for a refund, your NAC Examination application fee will be returned to the credit card used at the time of payment, otherwise a credit will be applied to your account. The examination withdrawal fee will apply.
Any funds in your account that are not used for three full calendar years will be forfeited as of December 31 of the third full calendar year.
Withdrawing after the deadline or being absent on exam day
All fees will be forfeited if you did not withdraw before the withdrawal deadline date or if you are absent on exam day.
You will be eligible for a partial refund only if you withdraw your application through your physiciansapply.ca account, by the withdrawal deadline date.
