Dr. Martina Reslerova is a graduate of the Faculty of Medicine of Charles University in Prague, Czech Republic. She obtained a PhD in cardiovascular pharmacology at the University of Calgary and completed her residency in internal medicine, as well as a fellowship in nephrology, at Indiana University in Indianapolis, United States. She is a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada and a diplomate of the American Board of Internal Medicine (in both internal medicine and nephrology).
As the program director of the International Medical Graduate (IMG) Program at the University of Manitoba, Dr. Reslerova developed an interest and expertise in the assessment and training of IMGs. In 2024, she was appointed director of Specialty Assessments for IMGs at the University of Manitoba.
Clinically, she has been practising nephrology at St. Boniface Hospital, affiliated with the University of Manitoba, since 2002. Dr. Reslerova lives in Winnipeg, Manitoba, with her husband, their son, and their dog.
