Application for medical registration now accepted by Ontario

Ontario is now joining other medical regulatory authorities by accepting Applications for Medical Registration (AMR) through the physiciansapply.ca national portal. This online application is only for prescreened, first-time applicants to the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario (CPSO) seeking a certificate of registration authorizing Independent Practice. Candidates are able to use the system to apply to most jurisdictions in Canada. Candidates wishing to access the new AMR should visit physiciansapply.ca.
