An MCCQE application that includes a test accommodation request will require up to 9 weeks to process, once all exam eligibility requirements have been met and the required supporting documentation has been received. Requests are reviewed on a first-come, first-served basis.
Because scheduling is available approximately 5 months before the session and it can take up to 9 weeks to process your test accommodation request, we encourage you to apply to the exam sooner to ensure you can schedule in your preferred exam session.
Test accommodations must be granted by the MCC and programmed with Prometric before an appointment can be scheduled.
Once your test accommodation has been approved, you will receive a message in your account confirming that you can schedule your exam appointment online. If you require wheelchair accessibility, please call Prometric’s test accommodation team for your geographic region to book your appointment by phone, and Prometric staff will assist you.
While Prometric will make every attempt to accommodate scheduling preferences, exam appointments that support the delivery of test accommodations are subject to availability; specific exam dates and start times cannot be guaranteed.
If you request a test accommodation after you have scheduled an exam appointment, you will be instructed to cancel the existing appointment as test accommodations cannot be added to existing standard exam appointments. Once the appointment has been cancelled, send the required test accommodation documentation to [email protected]. You will be able to schedule a new appointment after the test accommodation request has been reviewed.
