Application for Medical Registration now accepted by Northwest Territories

Northwest Territories (NWT) is now joining other Medical Regulatory Authorities by accepting Applications for Medical Registration (AMR) through the physiciansapply.ca national portal. This online application is open to prescreened, first-time applicants to the Government of NWT seeking a certificate of registration authorizing them for independent practice.

As the portal now integrates all provinces and territories, candidates will be able to use the system to apply to one or more jurisdictions. Each jurisdiction will continue to assess and process applications based on its own legislation and policies. Candidates wishing to submit an application should visit physiciansapply.ca.
