MCCQE Part I scheduling is now open for the October/November 2024 session

Scheduling for the Medical Council of Canada Qualifying Examination (MCCQE) Part I for the October 16 to November 20, 2024 session is now available through our vendor Prometric.

The MCCQE Part I is offered at available Prometric test centres and via remote proctoring. Before you can schedule your exam appointment, your MCCQE Part I application must be accepted in your physiciansapply.ca account. Once your application is approved, a message advising you to proceed to scheduling with Prometric is sent through your account. This message includes instructions on the scheduling process.

Please note that scheduling with Prometric is on a first-come, first-served basis.

The October/November 2024 session will be the last session offering the MCCQE Part I with the clinical decision-making component; there will be no administration of the MCCQE Part I in January 2025. Starting in April 2025, the enhanced MCCQE Part I will consist of multiple-choice questions only.
